At CJ Dean Designs, we offer a full-service, in-home interior design experience focused on creating comfortable, thoughtfully furnished spaces that support how you live. From defining the scope and design direction to sourcing, ordering, and installation, we manage the details of the process so your home comes together with clarity, confidence, and ease.

STEP 1: DISCOVERY CALL

Every project begins with a conversation.

The discovery call is an opportunity to talk through your goals, your home, and what you are hoping to accomplish. It allows us to determine scope, alignment, and whether a full-service design approach is the right fit.

During our conversation, we will discuss your priorities and goals, how you live in your space, and project timing and investment range, so expectations are clear before moving forward.

This call allows us to begin the process with clarity and intention, setting the foundation for a thoughtful, well-managed design experience.

STEP 2: IN HOME CONSULTATION

Your home should support both your lifestyle and how you want to live in the space.

The in-home consultation allows us to see your home firsthand and better understand how each room functions day to day. This is where we begin translating goals into a clear design direction grounded in how you live, not just how the space looks.

During the consultation, we will walk through your home together, discuss routines and priorities within each space, and identify opportunities for comfort, functionality, and flow.

From there, we establish a realistic investment range and outline next steps, creating a clear path forward before the design process begins.

STEP 3: DESIGN CONCEPT & PRESENTATION

A well-designed home comes from thoughtful curation, not endless options.

Following the in-home consultation, we develop a digital design concept and electronic mood board that reflects your priorities, lifestyle, and how you want your home to function. This visual framework establishes the overall direction and guides all selections moving forward.

We then meet again in your home for a design presentation. During this meeting, you will review the electronic mood board along with curated physical samples and materials selected specifically for your space. This allows you to confidently evaluate options and make informed decisions before moving forward.

Once selections are approved, the design is finalized and ready to be brought to life.

STEP 4: INSTALLATION & COMPLETION

Once your design is finalized, we manage the full implementation of the project from start to finish.

This phase includes placing and tracking orders, coordinating deliveries, and overseeing installation so each element arrives and is installed as intended. As a full-service interior design studio, we handle the logistics and details, keeping the process organized and moving forward while you stay focused on everyday life.

On installation day, furnishings, lighting, textiles, and finishing details are placed and styled to ensure the space feels cohesive, comfortable, and complete. You are always welcome to be present, though many clients choose to step away and return to a fully finished home.

The result is a thoughtfully completed interior that reflects your lifestyle and priorities and is ready to be lived in.
